Food & Beverage applications require pumps to be efficient, gentle with the product and highly CLEANABLE. Food & Beverage pumps are available as centrifugal and positive displacement meeting the highest industry standards 3A, USDA, FDA, USP Cl VI, EHEDG and should be CIP (Clean In Place) and in some cases SIP (Steam In Place). Centrifugal Pumps

Sanitary pumps are used for general transfer and for CIP (clean in place) processes. These pumps are the work horse of the food and beverage market. The pumps are normally supplied as close coupled units with tri-clamp connections for ease in removal and disassembly. Many are mounted on a raised base to allow thorough cleaning under the equipment

Ampco Pumps

Ampco Pumps has been supplying stainless steel centrifugal pumps to dairy and food processing plants since the first generation CIP systems were developed in the 1950's. Today they offer a complete line of sanitary pumps to meet all of your centrifugal pump requirements. All meeting the 3A certification requirements.

AC Series

AC series pumps are 100% interchangeable with the traditional Tri-Clover "C Series" style pumps and Waukesha's Puriti pumps. The AC+ model retains the hydraulic and dimensional specifications of the AC pumps while incorporating an improved shaft design. Only Ampco offers the complete product line including C4410's. The new AC+ shaft design eliminates instability problems sometimes associated with the traditional impeller pin design.

LC/LF/LD Series

LC/LF/LD series pumps are interchangeable with Fristam's competing FPX/FPR/FP models. These pumps offer heavy duty, cast construction and superior efficiencies. Mechanical and hydraulic performance is identical to the competitor models, plus each of these Ampco pumps includes a standard stainless steel adapter and a silicon carbide seal upgrade.

SP Series

Ampco's SP pumps are interchangeable with Fristam's competing FZX product line. The self-priming capability of the liquid ring design makes SP pumps ideally suited for CIP return applications and for handling products with entrained air.

Lobe pumps

  • Hy~Line offers high reliability, low noise, low product damage, easy servicing and efficient handling of a wide variety of liquids. Hy~Line offers levels of hygiene and chemical resistance to suit many transfer, filtration and processing applications and can be cleaned in place (CIP) to a level adequate for many users. Some variants approved to EHEDG CIP protocols Ultima, as the name suggests, combines all of the above with even higher standards of in-place cleanability (CIP) & sterilization (SIP), process containment and purity of liquid for applications where compromise is not an option. Ultima is used in truly sterile applications and everywhere that only the highest system cleaning capability is good enough. Approved to EHEDG CIP, SIP & bacterial tightness protocols Hy~Line and Ultima share not only installation dimensions but also performance characteristics and many common spare parts as well.
  • The Jabsco Hy~Line and Ultima ranges are two variants of a common theme. Both demonstrate high standards of design and manufacture and share many features. Flexible Impeller Pumps

Flexible impeller pumps can be used for soft solid, minimal shear to thixotropic fluids. The pump is self priming and meet 3A standard 02-09 is CIP able and easy to strip clean. These units are available in either tri-clamp or ASME threaded connections.

Wilden Saniflo™ Series pump line is specifically designed to meet the strict guidelines established for sanitary process applications. Almatec

The ALMATEC pump series BIOCOR is especially designed for sterile applications within the pharmaceutical, biotechnical and food industry. The air-operated diaphragm pumps are EHEDG certificated and ATEX conform according to 94/9/EG directive. BIOCOR pumps with a material combination of PTFE (diaphragms, ball valves, O-rings) equipped with a diaphragm monitoring are 3-A approved. The special design with the integrated cleaning-system enables the CIP (clean in place) and SIP (sterilization in place) capability. Always a demand for sterile applications: all housing parts of the BIOCOR pumps show no horizontal areas. Each pump comes with four ball lifting magnets, which can be attached to the pump housing from the outside at the location of the four ball valves. The ball valves are risen up magnetically out of their seats and the pump is drained entirely without having to be dismounted. There are no mechanical ball lifters with parts and seals in the wetted area.

Progressive Cavity Pumps

Liberty Progressive Cavity Pumps

Liberty progressive cavity pumps for Ultrapure applications handles food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.  These pumps offer contamination-free, CIP capabilities design in various stator materials to meets 3A, USDA, FDA and BISS sanitation requirements.  Chrome-Plated stainless steel rotors corrosion resistant finishes to 240 grit (20 Ra).  Pump range up to 300 gpm and pressures to 350 psi.

Moyno Progressive Cavity Pumps

Moyno Sanitary Pumps transfer shear-sensitive materials with a minimum of turbulence or stress. Non-pulsating provides minimal product degradation in shear-sensitive applications and provide long service life in abrasive slurries and corrosive fluids. Flow to 345 gpm with presures up to 225 psi. Standard models meet 3A and BISSC sanitary requirements with no modifications.

Peristaltic - Hose Pumps

Masterflex/ Barnant

Masterflex/ Barnant pumps are peristaltic or flexible tube pump. This design consists of anarc of flexible tubing set in a circular pump housing. Rollers, driven by an electric or an air-operated motor, compress the tubing very tightly against the casing, pushing the pumpage through the pump. The rollers flatten the tubing down to practically zero cross-sectional area, preventing recirculation. When the tubing recovers from compression (i.e., regains its former shape), the resulting vacuum draws the fluid into the suction side of the pump. Usually, the same piece of tubing acts as suction, pump, and discharge tubing. Peristaltic pumps offer the advantage of sealless design and very precise flows of small quantities (e.g., fractions of a mL) of fluid. They are commonly used in pharmaceutical and analytic chemistry "dosing" applications such as additives. Food grade tubing and tri-clamp connections are normally supplied in these applications

Vector Peristaltic Pumps

VECTOR peristaltic pump gives you pumping options you can't get from standard positive displacement or centrifugal industrial pumps. The VECTOR pump is designed to handle the high viscosity fluids commonly found in industrial processing. Whether these fluids are pasty, pulpy or just plain thick, the VECTOR peristaltic pump can reliably start, stop and continuously pump such fluids at a wide range of pressures and flows. The pumping action is powerful, but will not break up delicate emulsions or cause excessive frothing of dissolved gases. With no cups, seals or packing to come in direct contact with the pumped fluids, the VECTOR peristaltic pump is ideal for pumping high purity fluids or fluids corrosive enough to require complete isolation from contact with mechanical parts of the fluid transport system.

Wilden's Saniflo VC pump was designed for even the most demanding solids handling applications commonly found within the sanitary industries. Systems
